I just spilled liquid, what do I do right now?

Turn it off by holding the power button, unplug the charger, do not turn it back on and remove the battery if it is removable. Turn it upside down open in a V on a towel to drain and bring it in as soon as possible. No hair dryer, no rice.

My laptop turned on after the spill, is it fine now?

The most common mistake. Turning on today does not mean it is fine: corrosion keeps advancing under the components. A timely cleaning costs far less than a motherboard repair weeks later.

Can my files and games be recovered?

The drive is almost never damaged by a spill. Even if the board cannot be repaired, your data is usually rescued. We do not guarantee it before inspecting, and we tell you honestly.

Does the factory warranty apply?

No factory warranty covers liquid damage; that is why official service usually quotes a whole motherboard. We repair it at component level.

What warranty does it have?
